Now baking in-house!

Torta di Mele

Some of you may have noticed a couple of additional items in our baked goods case this last week (namely, the seasonally-appropriate Apple Danish and Apple Cake). These wonderful creations were the handy-work of professional baker Joy Ramirez, whose budding Marmellatta Bakery has nested in our kitchen until they open their own full-scale bakeshop. She specializes in pastries and breads that hearken to her Italian heritage:  using simple doughs and sweetening them up with fresh fruit and creams.

If you’ve come to know and love items that Portland Brew has been providing in the past, don’t worry! We will still be carrying those items – only now they will be freshly baked in our own kitchen.
