We had a great coffee tasting this past Sunday, but no worries if you missed it: you can still find most of the coffees we tasted on our shelves. These are available by the bag or freshly brewed on demand via Aeropress.
One coffee in particular that we’re excited to start carrying is the Costa Rica La Minita Del Sol from Atlanta, GA based roaster Batdorf & Bronson. It is an incredibly clean and well balanced coffee, with maple syrup sweetness, and a pleasant orange-citrus acidity that the roaster describes as “sparkling.”
We visited Hacienda La Minita ourselves in 2008 and were blown away by their operations. Their attention to detail in the growing and milling of their coffee is considered second to none by many and has made La Minita a well known estate throughout the coffee world.
